WHAT VOCAL METHODS DO YOU TEACH?
Alicia believes every voice is as individual as the person who owns it. She doesn't define her teaching by just one method, and instead believes a multidisciplinary and open-minded approach to teaching and coaching is best! Always building on her knowledge, Alicia incorporates a variety of methods, utilising a vast toolbox to provide exercises and lesson plans that suit each unique student. Her toolbox includes:
-
Estill Voice Technique
-
CVT
-
Somatic Voicework
...and numerous courses and coaching in other techniques, such as The Accent Method. She has learnt from some of the world's renowned voice coaches and professionals, including Kim Chandler, Anne-Marie Speed, Dr. Jenovora Williams, Walt Fritz, and more!

WHO DO YOU TEACH?
Alicia works with both professional and beginner voices and has aided students in preparing for and landing West End roles and commercial work, in auditioning for Am Dram societies and achieving principal roles in local productions, and in attaining A-Level and GCSE Music. She has further helped students prepare and record songs for special occasions and warmly welcomes students who simply wish to have fun and gain confidence in their own voice.

In terms of genre, Alicia is incredibly versatile, working with singer-songwriters, rock and country singers, jazz and blues vocalists, professional MT performers, and even members of the Hallé choir! As a vocalist herself, she specialises in contemporary and popular music styles.

Alicia has worked successfully with a vast variety of students, including those with ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, alongside high-functioning anxiety and other mental health conditions. She welcomes all who wish to sing!
