WHAT VOCAL METHODS DO YOU TEACH?
Alicia believes every voice is as individual as the person who owns it. She doesn't define her teaching by just one method, and instead believes a multidisciplinary and open-minded approach to teaching and coaching is best! Always building on her knowledge, Alicia incorporates a variety of methods, utilising a vast toolbox to provide exercises and lesson plans that suit each unique student. Her toolbox includes:

Alicia does not use just one vocal method. Instead she draws on multiple different tools and techniques so that every individual student gets the lesson they need. Over the years she has studied Estill Voice Technique, Somatic Voicework, The Accent Method, and attended numerous of courses and coaching in other techniques such as Complete Vocal Technique. She has learnt from some of the world's renowned voice coaches and professionals, including Kim Chandler, Anne-Marie Speed, Dr. Jenovora Williams, Walt Fritz, and more!
WHO DO YOU TEACH?
The simple answer is 'everyone'. All ages (8+) and abilities are welcome, whether you're a complete beginner wanting to gain confidence in your voice or a more experienced vocalist who's looking to refine your technique! Each lesson is catered to the individual needs of the student, so no matter what your goal Alicia will work with your ambitions in mind.
Alicia works with both professional and beginner voices and has aided students in preparing for and landing West End roles and commercial work, in auditioning for Am Dram societies and achieving principal roles in local productions, and in attaining A-Level and GCSE Music. She has further helped students prepare and record songs for special occasions and warmly welcomes students who simply wish to have fun and gain confidence in their own voice.
Alicia has worked successfully with a vast variety of students, including those with ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, alongside high-functioning anxiety and other mental health conditions. She welcomes all who wish to sing!
